For Half Price to the Running Days of Biel

More than 3000 participants are at the starting line of the Running Days of Biel with the 100-km run of Biel, every year. Apart from the conventional tickets of the Transport Services Biel-Bienne and the shuttle bus on the 100-km-Run, the Night Marathon and Night Half Marathon, we also offer the trip via train from the Swiss border 2010 again, for special prices.

Together with the allocation of your number, a voucher will be given to all runners whose entry fee has been received by 7th may 2010, which entitles them to buy a special ticket which reduces the fare by 50% of a ticket starting from any Swiss train station or border train station with destination station Biel. Holders of a half price ticket subscription (“Halbtaxler”) even benefit of a reduction of 75% of the full fare. The special ticket for the first or second class can be obtained in every occupied Swiss train station by handing in your voucher and showing your allotment of the race number. The special ticket can not be bought at any ticket machine or on the train. You will receive an extract of the timetable with the best connections to Biel with your race materials.

With the SBB (Swiss Federal Railways), you will travel relaxed and by cutting the stress to the starting line of the Running Days of Biel.

Riding Free of Charge with the Transport Services of Biel

The Runnig Days of Biel with the 100-km-Run look back at a long success story. More than 3000 participants are at the starting line every year. The Transport Services of Biel have been a part of this for years. Together with the city centre stores of Biel-Bienne, they issue free of charge tickets for the city transport network for participants.

Together with the allocation of their number, all runners whose entry fee has been received by 7th May 2010, will be given a free of charge ticket for the city transport network, valid for the duration of the event. Pre-registering in advance is therefore especially worthwhile. Those runners who come to the starting point without pre-registration, have to buy a ticket on the bus directly and pay themselves.

"Line 1" takes you, without changing lines, from the train station to the starting point at the ice stadium. The departing point is located across the train station slightly to the right, directly in front of the branch bank “Raiffeisen”. The Bus is written down as "Linie 1, Richtung Eisbahn/ Pationoire”. During the day-time, busses operate every 10 respectively, 7.5 minutes. It would give us great pleasure if you would travel with us.
